Apollo 11 movie review Corbin Tewehi

Apollo 11 a documentary, directed by tod miller tells the story of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. he uses intense sound a lot in this film the way he makes this film feel he’s brought us back to 1969 using only clips from the time era and even using the title screen from 1969. during the launch scene, it is a very intense moment not just for the crew, astronauts, and the members of the public but also us the viewers.

during the launch scene, it was a very airy intense moment with all the sound going on. it started with the 30-second count down leading up to the launch, when it got down to 10 seconds all noises cut out except for a very deep heartbeat when the timer hit 0 there was silence for a brief second and then the booming sound or the engine firing up and propelling the spacecraft into the atmosphere. When the spacecraft took off and successfully made it into the atmosphere cheers from the thousands watching and the whole mission control could be heard.

Hi Corbin
I am concerned that you are making little progress. You need to make a plan to maximise the remaining available time for this assessment. You know the material and have spoken to me about the different aspects covered in the plan and task handout so now is the time to get something down.
As you go remember to use the S.E.X.Y. structure and to make sure that your are reviewing Miller’s success in building tension and suspense. Use the aspects covered in the task sheet to explore his successes (or failures) and give examples with your opinion.
Good luck
Cheerio
